An 80-minute lesson that provides activities for rhyming related to Green Eggs and Ham amnd leads to a Readers Theatre performance . Includes lesson plan with link to online video and activities sheets with answers. A good lesson with simple language that provides practice for rhymes, intonation, tone and co-working.I enjoy using old vids because most ss haven’t seen them so it’s something new, and in this case, the song is catchy and upbeat. My classes have always loved the lesson. Loaded in PDF and Word formats for easy editing.

EAL: Jungle Book (1967) - Bare necessities - Sequencing

An 80-minute lesson that uses the song Bare Necessities from the original Jungle Book in 1967 for sequencing work. Includes lesson plan, PPT and worksheet. Most of the lessons on this song focus on gap filling, rhyming words, memorizing, etc. That’s all good, but song and vid present an opportunity to have ss think about and process sequencing. I enjoy using old films because most ss haven’t seen them so it’s something new, and in this case, the song is catchy and upbeat. My classes have always loved the lesson.
