<p>Updated (worksheets to have LO on and added a ppt version of slides as so many of us can no longer easily access smart). PPt version is slightly different to initial planning as adapted a little for my SENd class.</p> <p>Planning and all resources required for unit. This contains 2 lessons rated at outstanding (headteacher obs and mock Ofsted obs).</p> <p>I’ve looked at three of the plans on here and taken what I consider to be the best bits of each and drawn them together into this 2 week unit.</p> <p>I&amp;‘d like to thank the other 3 authors for sharing theirs and I truly hope that they don&amp;’;t mind me posting a merged version!</p>

Pete</em></p> <p>Whilst looking for maths revision lessons I found a plan / timetable that someone had clearly spent much time putting together. I decided that to use this as the bases for my last few weeks before SATs. Unfortunately, this plan was not resourced. I’ve spent sometime searching the net for lessons and resources to use. I would like to stress that these are basic lesson resources and will need adapting according to your class. Some lessons are better than others!</p> <p>Apologies, I couldn’t work out how to group lessons so it’s a bit of a mess!</p>

<p>Powerpoint walking through the research, design, make and evaluate process for creating scaled models of chairs out of recyclable materials.</p> <p>I used a project booklet from a well known subscription resouce website along side the ppt for pupils to record on but this is not essential. The project works very well without the recording or for mainstream classroom (I used in KS3 SEND but would happily use in KS2 mainstream).</p> <p>My group really got on board with the idea of finding a gap in the market and the need for a unique selling point.</p> <p>The ppt is a bare bones one and will rely on you (and more importantly, them) to talk it but it should help to provide a structure for the unit. Hopefully it will be of some use to someone :-)</p>

<p>Island project created for the first day back in school after a two week home learning period of class bubble being shut down.</p> <p>I am using it in a mixed KS2/3 SEND school class so the writing elements are minimal but this could be easily adapted to include a guide or other written task.</p> <p>The idea is to encourage peer interaction again after a period off.</p> <p>Three tasks:</p> <ol> <li>Draw and design an island layout</li> <li>Design a tribe to live on the island</li> <li>Decide on the ‘Ten Commandments’ for the island</li> </ol>
