<p>Created for Year 13 students preparing for the Cambridge International A Level examination. Generic template with list of theorists, connectives and texts. Our focus has been old representation of “older people” in the media. My class have found this very useful - hope yours do too!</p>

A one lesson introduction to this element, involving group work focused on introducing examination skills. The hand out design is pretty unimaginative - feel free to tart up!

With emphasis on context (WJEC) these notes have been compiled as last minute boosters for GCSE English Lit Unit 2. The strengthened GCSE puts emphasis on AO4 in the essay question, these notes intend to hone focus in the few days before the exam.

A prompt sheet focusing on &quot;Ultimate Christmas Gadgets&quot; with suggestions for clips to download and view, while pupils complete the table. This leads onto creative thinking, where pupils can either invent or research a new gadget, with a range of tasks, ready to pitch their ideas to the class. Focus is on developing communication and presentational skills, persuasive language, information and explanation text purposes and hopefully a lot of fun along the way!
