<p>This is a complete PowerPoint SoW, with differentiated lessons on all poems in the GCSE Power and Conflict poetry cluster.</p> <p>The PPT covers each poem, with one lesson exploring context and annotating the poem and another lesson exploring the poem in greater detail (exploring language and stucture, evaluating, writer’s methods/intentions/attitudes etc). There are also lessons on poetry comparison and creative wiring intertwined.</p> <p>Lesson objectives are provided for each lesson and clear outcomes are being made by the end.</p> <p>The PPT has been used with my middle ability Y10 class, however the questions are all differentiated with appropriate stretch and challenge provided for more able pupils.</p> <p>Designed to teach over a whole term. 40 lessons in total.</p>
