KS4 test on most tenses with revision lesson and peer assessment ppt. using OCR UMS grade boundaries for writing

I put a lesson together to make my KS4 classes realise that many verbs are irregular in the present tense. The exercices in the powerpoint are not mine (thank you for sharing, saved me a lot of time!)

A lesson based on Les Restaurants du Coeur, to introduce this charity to pupils in the context of Le Bénévolat - new AQA AS specification.<br /> There is some reading, listening, and can lead to a research and presentation homework on other charities and their founders (Emaüs et l'Abbé Pierre, etc...)

A couple of lessons to compare French and British school systems and learn and use the comparative (1) and the negative (2).

Vocabulary to learn how to say why people go on holiday - to relax, discover new cultures etc...

Assembly to promote MFL across the school, can easily be adapted to each key-stage.

5 grammar tests with multiple choice answer for foundation students.

Again a set of grammar test to keep my pupils on their toes and reinforce the basics. With peer-marking powerpoint presentation.

Introducing controlled assessments to Y10s, and making them think, using tasks on work experience/ school. Also includes how they can use tenses.

Strategies explaining to students how they can remember their coursework, presenting mnemonics. I tried to include a range to cater for all types of learners. The word document can be given out for students to make notes on.

I planned these grammar tests, one to be used weekly to keep my class revising, and giving them a 'grammar grade&' to try and motivate them.

Just a quick recap on reflexive verbs, place of the pronoun, recap of reflexive pronouns in present and perfect tense.
