<p>Can be used across all phases but I use them phase 1-3. Easy to resource and fun for the children. Lots of active and multi-sensory ideas to help them learn and retain phonic learning! I plan from this list and I can assure you, they’re all very successful activities! Once downloaded - just remove the square by opening word and deleting.</p> <p>Here are 3 example activities:<br /> <strong>What’s the word mr wolf</strong><br /> Teacher to give word, children to segment it, taking one step per sound.</p> <p>**Blend and draw **<br /> Sound out word, children blend and draw e.g. draw the s-u-n’</p> <p><strong>Disco phonics</strong><br /> Flash sounds whilst backing track of popular song plays, children do actions and say sound in time to the beat.</p>
