Made for KS4 GCSE Geography, case study of one river basin. <br /> <br /> Six sheets in total, 3 positives and 3 negatives. <br /> <br /> Positives: <br /> Leisure- white water rafting<br /> Hydroelectric power<br /> Creates a bridge (link) across the river<br /> <br /> Negatives:<br /> Barrage does not prevent flooding from downstream<br /> Fishing is disrupted<br /> Students must think of their own<br /> <br /> Each sheet gives information on each of the above subjects. <br /> <br /> I use these as a carousel activity where in pairs students are either a positive or negative. Each student has to visit 3 tables and then teach their partner what they have learnt (usually to fill in a table).
