This is a full half term’s worth of planning which follows the cornerstones planning for ‘Potions’. This includes a full plan, knowledge organiser, baseline assessment test and homework ideas as well as all worksheets and notebooks that were used.

This lesson was delivered as an observation and was classed as outstanding. It follows on from the ‘rock, paper and scissors’ video on literacy shed. The objective is to describe the scene in which is shown in the video. I have included a smart notebook and presentation of the lesson as well as supporting vocab writing mats and a differentiated worksheet for the LA and MA children.

I have created maths reasoning sentence starters which can be used to go on your maths working wall or can be made smaller to go inside a childs maths book. I have found these really useful as children can use them to help begin their reasoning explanation.

I have created a bundle of resouces along side the planning for the unit title of 'Risks’ In this unit children will look at what a risk is, the different aspects of a risk aswell as looking at the use and risks of using drugs and alcohol. The statements that are covered are: SpD3: use of imagination and creativity in their learning SpD4: willingness to reflect on their experiences. MD1: ability to recognise the difference between right and wrong, readily apply this understanding in their own lives and, in so doing, respect the civil and criminal law of England MD2: understanding of the consequences of their behaviour and actions MD3: interest in investigating and offering reasoned views about moral and ethical issues and being able to understand and appreciate the viewpoints of others on these issues.
