<p>This is a 20 lesson unit, aimed for Year 4 children but could be adapted. At the end of the unit, the children will make their own picture book but there are small outcomes along the way. The children will explore the picture book in detail and be able to discuss the author/illustrator intentions. They will use drama, Kagan strategies and streams of consciousness to deepen their understanding.</p> <p>Each lesson includes starters and reflections. Worksheets, teacher presentations and unit plan included.</p>
