Suitable for KS3.</p> <p>The lesson allows for a starter activity where pupils can discuss or bullet point as many things they can see in the painting.</p> <p>A brief overview of Blitzkrieg and the situation at Dunkirk.</p> <p>Pupils complete a worksheet which asks them to categorise different facts as a ‘success’ or ‘failure’.</p> <p>Questions based on sources.</p> <p>Plenary allows an opportunity for pupils to provide a judgment using extended writing.</p>
