<p>A unit of eight differentiated tried and tested English lessons that are designed to engage mid-low ability GCSE students. The unit focuses on building students’ confidence in reading and comparing unseen poetry; comparing writers’ viewpoints within non-fiction texts; and writing to argue/persuade, therefore it is a great revision unit with lots of opportunity for students to build their confidence in tackling exam questions. The unit is designed to support AQA Language and Literature studies but could easily be adapted to suit the needs of other boards.</p>
