Instead of writing out the leaf starch test, pupils cut out the boxes and try and place them in order! Some boxes have a picture to go with them!

Basic instructional ppt. (Animations. . .hmmm.... as still getting used to the format). Gets over the general principal and leaves the door open for advanced teaching with the final few slides!

Foundation level, basic information relayed in a gap filling / colouring activity!

Foundation classes. Simple questions - fill in the gaps type things!

Nothing special. . just links tutorial to note taking... pupils found it easier to digest the subject with this type of help!

I have used the brilliant ppt's provided by this web site to produce something I would need to get across the ideas to a mixed ability group! Sorry if you dont find it to your taste. . but it is a basis on which to add higher level ideas! Hope it is useful!
