<p>This resource is intended for full school role out and contains ten focus areas for tutors to cover with their form groups as a weekly tutor activity. Each session is intended as a 20-30 minute focus and is fully question based to enable discussion and exploration of a variety of areas.</p> <p>The focus areas are really effective tools for personal self reflection and focus heavily on growth mind set, learning from failure and developing self confidence. The resource is big on positive outlooks developing independence and accepting others.</p> <p>The resource covers the topics of</p> <ul> <li>Learning</li> <li>Failure</li> <li>How do you see the World</li> <li>Reflection</li> <li>Creativity</li> <li>Success</li> <li>Outlooks and Destinations</li> <li>Difference</li> <li>Independence</li> <li>Confidence</li> </ul> <p>The thoughts for each week are question and quotation based to enable students to reflect on a personal level. The slides are designed to be contemporary and where quotations and people are used, largely up to date examples and people who students are more likely to be familiar with are chosen. This means they range from Einstein to Eninem and Team GB to Green Day. Brief biographies are used to provide context if needed.<br /> Hyperlinks are made to articles and clips which can be used alongside the thoughts.</p> <p>Included in the download is a PDF for the full year to act as overview and 10 separate powerpoints to cover each unit.</p>
