To be used with the Edxcel GCSE Combined Science (9-1) textbook (Pearson).
The idea is to get the students using the textbook and revising without realizing they are revising!
The game covers most of the content required for the Combined course for biology.
Can be played in a two, or in teams. The rules are attached. I would recommend that the game is printed onto A3 paper, preferably in colour, and laminated.
A great opportunity to make revision more collaborative and fun.

A student friendly version of the Combined Science Trilogy Advance information from AQA.
Designed to be simple for the students to use.

Has taken me over 5 hours to produce, which I hope justifies the £3!
May not be perfect, and I welcome any feedback.

This could be delivered as a walking talking mock or a quiz. The second half of the PPT contains answers.
The questions come from a Pearson specimen paper. Paper 3 content.
It is aimed at mixed ability, mainly from the foundation paper but with some higher only questions at the end.

The plan is to produce one for Bio and Phys ready for after Easter. Watch this space!

Best of luck to you and your students.

I used this task to motivate a lazy middle group. Show them the video first. It shows the race between a Bugatti Veyron and a Eurofighter jet. If you want to cut the video down a bit, I suggest starting it at 3:25 in. Then talk them through using data to plot and analyse graphs using the PPT file.
