This quiz is for high school students studying the novel “Life of Pi”. This resource includes 50 multiple choice questions for Part One of the novel, 50 multiple choice questions for parts two and three of the novel, and six different short answer questions.

This is an assignment good for all levels. It can be used in any language class as a critical thinking assignment where students are asked to create their own language by answering questions that will guide them. There is also a supplementary resource which I used for discussions. It was based on my ESL students comparing the English, Mandarin, and French languages.
