A set of fifty ten-minute tests - perfect for an Arithmetic focus as part of a year 6 curriculum. Each test consists of 12 questions - children should aim to complete the test in ten minutes. Layout is close to the one used for the national tests; children should be encouraged to use the space provided to show their working out. The tests get harder as you work through them. I keep a spreadsheet of the children’s scores, so that they and I can see their progress over time.
