<p>This is a set of 8 games for children to work around in pairs or small groups. There is a different activity at each station for them to have a go at and they record their answers on an activity sheet. The stations are: Parts of speech; Alphabetical Order; Countdown; Word Breakdown; Speech Marks; Apostrophes; Homophones and Conjunctions. My class have really enjoyed these activities and it has been nice to see them so engaged and involved in their own learning. It’s also a good way to assess their understanding of each area.</p>
These cards contain stories from 4 different children who are finding the playground a difficult place. Children can discuss them in groups and write their own 'agony aunt' style piece of advice.
