Hi Guys

Here are the lesson powerpoints for the first 4 learning objectives on the Cambridge Technical Sports, Unit 2: Coaching and Leadership. Each powerpoint has several lessons in it to fulfil the unit along with the assessment tasks.

High quality lessons, full of appropriate lesson content, engaging lesson tasks, plenaries and suitable objectives.

I moved schools before I finished teaching it hence why all Lo’s aren’t completed but it serves as a great start and a good base to finish the rest!

Feedback always appreciated!

This is a complete unit of work for the BTEC Sport Unit 2 practical performance unit.

Learning Aim A - understand the rules, regulations and scoring systems for selected sports

Learning Aim B - practically demonstrate skills, techniques and tactics in selected sports

Learning Aim C - be able to review sports performance

I have compiled each of the units into 1 powerpoint document, each of the units have a varied number of lessons. Each lesson guides the learner towards ultimately completing each of the assignments but also adds an engaging element and several fun tasks along the way. I have also added the checklists that the students use to keep track of where they are up to during the course of the unit.

My learners have achieved some of the best grades we’ve had as a school with these and I do recommend.

Thanks,

In this bundle you will find powerpoints for each of the Unit 4 assignments. The powerpoints themselves guide learners into completing the coursework as they go through lesson to lesson as opposed to at the end of a unit. Each of the lessons have a final slide with the requirements for each the section of the coursework that the lesson focused on.

Assignment A - Personality and Sports Performance
Assignment B - Motivation, Self-Confidence and Sports Performance
Assignment C - Anxiety, Arousal and Sports Performance

I’ve also included a marksheet that students use to monitor what they have and haven’t completed. Really useful in saving time when marking!
