This is an outstanding lesson as classified by my PM observers. This lesson covers the journey of slaves from Africa to America. It allowes pupils to become specialist in one area and teach others within their class about that specfic aspect. Specific enquiry question is designed with different abilities in mind. A clear questioning starter that hook pupils in to the lesson with a refelctive plenary. It gives pupils the ability to develop their communication skills and to refelct on what they did during the lesson.

Learning Objective: How did Hitler Challenge & Exploit the Treaty of Versailles 1933 to March 1938? Sucess Criteria: I will recall key facts about Hitler. I will use sources to explain Hitler’s main aims I will assess Hitler’s Foreign policy according to his aims. Work/activities are differentiated based on pupils predicted grade and expected targets. The activities are colour coded for groups/pupils to know what they should do. Starter is designed to hook pupils in to the lesson and to establish prior knowledge. Main activity is supported with key events to help pupils complete the differnitated actitivties. Pupils have an opportuinisty to answer GCSE exam question based on the OCR History GCSE paper 1.
