<p>Myths: Creative Writing Unit (SOL) KS3 English</p> <p>A full half term (7 week) unit of work that allows pupils to work with a range of myths to build on their creative writing skills.</p> <p>The scheme begins by showing pupils myths from diverse cultures so that they can engage in the conventions of myths whilst seeing a successful piece of mythical writing. Pupils then, during the second half of the unit, focus more on their own writing using what they have learned. The writing focuses on pupils to consider carefully the structure of their myth.</p> <p>All lessons are fully resourced and scaffolded with lots of challenging and exciting concepts.</p> <p>Assessments are clear, with aids to help make marking as efficient and effective. Mark schemes are also added that can be adapted for any school.</p>
