<p>I have made this interactive, engaging reading log to inspire children to read more at home. It is fully editable and covers a whole year of reading. It works on a points system so that children can earn rewards. Suitable for KS2 but can be edited to suit KS1. this was highly successful amongst my Year 6 class. Convert to PDF and print as a booklet when ready.</p>

<p>This three week writing unit of work based on the story of Greg Rasmussen from the book Survivors contains planning with differentiation and resources. This was used with a Year 6 class. The outcome is a diary write.</p>

<p>Guided reading planning for War Horse but also links into The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. There are lots of resources to go with this and most of the planning is differentiated. I have also included some SATs style tasks. This is aimed at whole class guided reading in a Year 6 class.</p>

<p>Free! A unit of work based around The Arrival by Shaun Tan and linking to other texts. The outcome is humorous letter writing for most and formal for some. This was made for a Year 6 class but could be adapted.</p>

<p>MTP for a unit of work based on the book A Child’s Garden. I used this with my Year 6 class and we used our school grounds to plant bulbs to create our own garden.</p>
