<p><strong>Body Language Illustrated – Zones of Regulation</strong></p> <p>This resource is based upon the Zones of Regulation. For each zone, a clear drawing of a child is labelled according to how the particular part of the body looks when the child is in that zone.</p> <p>A Special Educational Needs child will not be aware of the body language he or she projects when in a particular zone. This resource features a clear, easy to understand description of the body language of each of the four Zones of Regulation.</p> <p>Teachers and parents can use this resource to teach a child what their body language looks like and what impression they are therefore giving over to others. Teachers and parents can also use this resource to help a child work out what Zone the child is in.</p> <p>In a mainstream KS1 and KS2 classroom, these resources can be printed out as posters to be hung in a prominent position, enabling children to reach Social Awareness. <p>Clear, step by step classroom procedures with pretty illustrations for primary school classes.<br /> Includes Leaving the classroom, Independent work, Putting things in your drawer, Partner work, Entering the classroom, Group work, Teaching time.</p> <p>Print out procedures on A3 white card, cut out, laminate and cut out again. Attach 2 strips of stick-on velcro horizontally, across the top and bottom of the back of the procedures posters. On a blank wall display, for each procedures poster, stick 4 small pieces of stick-on velcro (aprox 1 /12 inches) in 4 corners. Staple the velcro to the wall using a wall stapler. Place procedures posters on the wall by means of the velcro.</p> <p>Stick a piece of velcro (14 inches) down the side of the whiteboard rim. When you want to use the required procedure, pull that poster off the wall display and stick it onto the side of the whiteboard.</p>
