<p>This is a fully resourced, detailed Scheme of Work for the GCSE text Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman. Created for a mixed ability Year 11 group to revise for their GCSE, complete with weekly reading homework for them to re-read the text in their own time.</p> <p>Includes scaffolding, challenges, opportunites for independent writing and links to context. <p>This is a revision workbook aimed towards low ability KS4 classes. It could be used for specific intervention, homework or for individual tasks during lessons. Created with low ability in mind but could be differentiated to higher ability students if needed. This includes key themes, quotations, summaries of the acts and important moments, character focus, AfL quizzes and some scaffolded analysis.</p> <p>Some of the formatting may be off as it was created in Google Docs, but should be easily fixable!</p>

<p>7 lessons designed to introduce GCSE English Language to Key Stage 4.</p> <p>Paper 1 work revolves around November 2018 (the T-Rex source), which you will need to find independently to help with this.</p> <p>Paper 2 work revolves around June 2019 (Ben Fogle source), which you will also need to find independently to help with this.</p> <p>The work is structured and includes tasks, but mostly revolves around a walking, talking mock style of teaching. Some GCSE English Literature retrievals included too - these can be tweaked if you do not teach Macbeth, An Inspector Calls or Power and Conflict.</p>
