<p>This document is a table of thematic comparisons with specific comments of analysis for The Great Gatsby and the Pre-1900 poems from the AQA anthology for AQA A Level English Literature Love Through the Ages specification. This was something really helpful that I made when I was struggling to make more direct comparisons between the two texts of differing genres.<br /> This helped me gain an A* in my English Literature A Level on the AQA Love Through the Ages specification and hopefully it can help others do the same.</p>

<p>I have condensed all of my reading and analysis on Othello into this one document. These notes are structured around the assessment objectives and is broken down into different parts which are: a summary of the play, analysis of key characters and their functions, analysis of key themes centred on love, motifs and symbols, key quotations with layered analysis, literary and historical context, literary and historical allusions, structure and form with comments of their purpose and critical theory.<br /> I printed this off before my exams and repeatedly re-read and re-annotated. I also used the different analysis points to structure my essay and essay plans in practice. This is specifically tailored for the AQA English Literature Love Through the Ages specification which I was able to achieve an A* in through this document :)</p>

<p>This document is a condensed version of all my notes for Poetry Through Time and is directed towards the AQA A Level English Literature Love Through the Ages Specification, particularly Section B which requires an answer for a comparison of two unseen poems. This document gives an overview of the different poetic movements from medieval poets up to post-modernist poets. It is broken down by movement and then divided into key poets names, key features and techniques of the movement and key pieces of historical context. This will help with general historical context that is required for the answer and will help guide comments on typicality and general analysis.<br /> I was able to achieve an A* in my English Lit A Level on the 2019 exam so I hope these resources will help others too :)</p>
