GCSE Maths Foundation Paper 1 Revision - Spot The Mistake (Non-Calculator)
This is a fantastic exam preparation resource that teachers can use to help students prepare for their GCSE Foundation Paper 1 exam.
The resource gives students the opportunity to identify and correct mistakes made in high-frequency non-calculator exam questions. Students must determine what mistake has been made and what the correct answer should be.
The questions are divided into the five GCSE topic areas to ensure maximum coverage of key exam content:
Number
Algebra
Ratio & Proportion
Geometry & Measures
Probability & Statistics
I have used this resource in a pre-exam booster/revision lesson, specifically in the lesson immediately before the exam.
Note: the misconceptions included in the incorrect answers are some of the most common ones, making identifying the error a real challenge. For this reason, I recommend using this resource with students** aiming for a Grade 4/5**.
Enjoy, and please leave a review!
