<p>This is a display I created for one of my A level Philosophy and Ethics classrooms.<br /> It is the heading BOOKFLIX, in stained glass letters and then there are 20 book covers.<br /> I printed mine onto card for the best effect, LOADS of students (and staff) have commented on it, it’s a really good conversation starter.</p>

<p>This is a full set of lessons to teach the AQA A Level LAW NECESSITY DEFENCES topic - self defence &amp; duress<br /> You are purchasing an accompanying power-point, x2 work books, case law sheet, revision activities.<br /> The workbooks take the students through the stages of each defence, getting to explain the sections of the law and asking them to apply case law as evidence for the decisions made. There are practice activities allowing them to apply what they have learnt and reinforcing the IDEA structure for the higher mark exam questions.<br /> This will take at least x6 hours to teach, you will need the AQA A Law text book to use along side this.</p>

<p>This is a series of x14 lessons, each is a self-contained power-point and is planned to last one hour long. No further resources are needed.<br /> They are based on the Religion, Peace and Conflict chapter of the AQA GCSE Religious Studies text book and the lesson includes an introduction to war, types of war, holy and just war, nuclear war, pacifism, the importance of remembering war.<br /> There are a variety of tasks, including individual and paired work, group tasks, exam style questions, videos, comprehension tasks.<br /> At my school we teach this one lesson per fortnight and it lasts us half the academic year - so excellent value at less than a £1 per lesson!</p>
