Here is a simple sheet that you can use to help children identify fractions greater that one and practise representing the fraction in different forms.

This resource is based on a short adventure video called ‘Taking Flight’. The comprehension consists of SATs style questions. It consists of 7 questions, worth a total of 10 marks altogether. The video can be found on the Literacy Shed website. Answers are also included. Used with a year 4 class.

I have created some extra fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions to give some of the children in my class some extra practice. I hope others will find them useful also!
