Not sure of the English school level, but beginners here in NZ. My young students know days, dates, numbers and time, colours, so can manage to do this, and will research in groups of five one country per pool. It gre bigger than I thought it would, although it is repetitive, but that should reinforce the knowledge of numbers in particular. Vive la Nouvelle-Zélande!

verbs vocabulary game

The idea of this game is to reinforce verbs for NCEA Level 1 (New Zealand). In turn the students say the correct meaning of two adjacent verbs. If correct, they draw a line connecting them, on the framework of the square. When they have been able to enclose four verbs, they write their name in the middle. Of course, other players can prevent them from completing a square. The winner is the person with the most completed squares, but of course everyone is a winner if they know the words!
