This is a 133 slides Power Point presentation with a question on each slide (Fr/Eng) to practice all themes of the new AQA specification for French GCSE. It has a reminder on each slide of the topic and themes the question is from and each topic has a different logo. It also has a special feature that allows you to shuffle the slides (just press ‘s’ on your keyboard). I have created this resource to practice for the Speaking exam (unprepared conversation and follow up questions after the reading aloud task) but I am also using it as a general revision tool for the Writing exam as each question can also be looked at as a bullet point for the 50/90/150 tasks.

After studying AQA reports of the past 8 years on recurring errors in the translation tasks of the A-Level French examination, I created a booklet that gives both AS and A2 students hints and tips on every single important areas to work on to improve their translation skills. The booklet comes with a contents page, and each section of the booklet is followed by original translation exercises for the students to complete. You will also find a PowerPoint presentation that follows the booklet, to be used in class by the teacher, and a teacher’s version of the booklet with all the answers to each of the exercises.
