Short stories explored include The Blue Carbuncle, The Crooked Man and The Final Problem. All skills focused on are relevant for GCSE AQA Language Papers 1 and 2 AO1-3. Frequent SPAG lessons recap the use of punctuation, sentence types etc. Differentiation is built in to most lessons with activities suited target Band 5 with higher level thinking questions aimed at Band 6+.</p>

All lessons are focused on skills required to successfully answer AQA Language Papers 1 and 2 with frequent SPAG lessons to recap use of punctuation, sentence types, connectives etc. Differentiation is evident throughout with every week having an ‘all, most and some’ target.</p>
