Phases of the moon - wheel spinner craft activity

(0)

Make your own cool eye catching wheel spinner to follow the phases of the moon. Perfect for moon week if you follow the ENWC (exploring nature with children) curriculum.

Includes spinner front, moon phases information and lunar phase wheels for both the northern and southern hemispheres.

Lovely visual learning aid for all ages. Useful for following the moons cycle or as part of a space topic. Download, print and cut them out to create a spinner wheel. Join together using a paper fastener, alternatively just stick to a metal surface using a magnet. There is a blank wheel for children who would like to draw their own moon phases.

For longevity, print and then laminate the wheels (or stick onto card) before cutting out. Use the same printer settings for each pages scaling, to ensure that the wheels line up (eg. ‘fit to page’ in the print dialog box). Only print the pages you need, versions for both hemispheres are included in the file.
