A lesson to introduce circuit symbols, the function of components and circuit diagrams. Includes a PPT and worksheets (differentiated where appropriate) along with a self assessment form for a part of the lesson.

A lesson to further embed potential difference and to introduce how potential difference is shared (or not) in series and parallel circuits. Includes a worksheet, help sheet and a video based task on electrocution.

A sequence of lessons on bioenergetics (made for the AQA GCSE scheme of work). This includes a sheet with all requisitions for all of the lessons any my own risk assessment.

An original quiz with 10 rounds of questions including a team sheet. All original content. Rounds are: Music, Celebs, Films, General Knowledge, Geography, Landmarks, Logos, Science, Sports, News.

A lesson to introduce the concept of electrical charge and current which then links into the Q=Ixt equation. Includes differentiated worksheets to solidify the basics and then a differentiated calculations worksheet based on 2 starter questions. Further extension questions included too.

A lesson to introduce resistance and the V=IxR equation. Includes differentiated questions on resistance and a differentiated calculations worksheet (students given a task based on marks from questions completed at the start of the worksheet)

A lesson to introduce series and parallel circuits and how electrical current behaves in series and parallel. Includes a worksheet to practice labelling Ammeters with correct values, a help sheet and an exam question (which I use as a marked piece).

A lesson to introduce potential difference. Includes a worksheet of differentiated questions. Also includes work based on an indoor lightning demo (using a high p.d. to force an insulator to conduct electricity (but also contains a video so the practical isn’t essential) - students will still be able to access the tasks.
