<p>A pack of worksheets for almost all chapters with variable, probing question styles that get students to seek out , interpret and explain vocabulary, infer meaning from text , retrieve information and summarise events.</p> <p>When studying this book with students I introduced the concept of <strong>hot seating</strong> characters and combined this with <strong>first person account writing (diaries)</strong> and <strong>newspaper report writing.</strong> (I did a couple of stand alone lessons on newspaper report writing before getting students to apply skills learnt with the material from the book .)<br /> Included are an example of a student’s diary writing and Newspaper article + report.</p>
