sequence of lessons to support the teaching and learning of the new Travel and Tourism BTEC National 2019 Specification - Unit 2: Global Destinations (Section B)

This project was made to support year 12 students during the Summer 1 term through COVID-19 lockdown online learning - but is a strong resource to support any learning of the Pearson BTEC Extended National Travel and Tourism. It focuses on applying knowledge from Unit 2 and creating a virtual brochure for a travel agents on a continent destination of their choice, and then supporting this with a 1000 word report, which challenges the students to persuade a client (based on client profile information) to choose a holiday in the destination they have chosen. This 5 week project encourages students to apply unit 1 and unit 2 knowledge, and is therefore a good resource to support the end of year 12.

All resources can be adapted to suit best fit.
