<p>Children will be introduced to the world of words through this competitive game. Children can revisit how to break down short words by sounds.</p> <p>You will need:<br /> 1 dice<br /> 4 counters<br /> Paper</p> <p>Instructions:<br /> Each player will take turns to roll the dice. The players move around the board until they land on a word accompanied with a picture. From then the players will need to land on each letter to make up that word. The paper should be used to record each occasion that they land on a letter in their word.</p> <p>This games requires 2-4 people aged between 3 and 5</p>

<p>In this exciting game, children will have fun while exercising. The clever children in your classroom will be tested in their memory skills. This will help them realize the strength of their literacy and thinking skills.</p> <p>Instructions: Children can take turns in reading questions which will equally assess their literacy, numeracy and general knowledge skills. Players can be chosen to answer a question on their own, in groups or as a class. They can also be selected to reveal the answers after each question or at the end of the activity.</p> <p>Hopping Smarties can be played in the classroom, the hall, the playground and at home.</p> <p>Suitable for children aged 4-9 years old.</p> <p>Suggestions:</p> <p>Children can cut out big shapes using paper and place them on the floor. They can hop from each shape as they answer a question correctly.</p> <p>Alternatively, children can label the printed questions on paper with letters. If a question is labeled b and they were to hop on it, they must answer that particular question.</p>
