The resource discusses various criminological theories and the exercise will help students to think about whether or not they agree with each of the theories by coming up with examples of situations that can back up their reasoning. Definitions of the criminological theories is provided and there is and exercise for students to complete either individually or for discussion in small groups. It provides an overview of the criminological theories which can be expanded to include more indepth lessons on each of the theories.
