Unit of work in Literacy to match our 'Weather around the world&' topic. In topic lessons the children had their own locality to research (weather, climate, location etc) and then in Literacy they wrote a holiday brochure persuading people to visit their locality. Thanks to Pie Corbett for initial ideas; his &';Hawk Ridge Farm Park' worked very well to introduce the topic.

Lesson plans and activities for a short unit I taught in my year 3 class based on the popular series by Jeff Kinney. The children loved the books and enjoyed writing their own diaries and comic strips in a similar style.
