Mindset morning journal!!!

This year I did a research study on the influence of gratitude and mindset, as well as mindset and mindful tasks!!! The differnece, as we all know is life changing!!!

Our days can be so busy it can be hard to prioritise this. One way I did this was through morning gratitude and affirmation journals! It was so succesful, with what was a very challenging class and low self esteem to a beautiful calm confident class, with even our local LLP asking me to present my work to others heads.

This next year, I have made a morning journal that focus on this as well as every other week or so a mindful or mnidset task.

I am so excited about the difference this will make. I have made it adaptable to all- just change the final affirmation to your class name!!!

I will be making one each term!!!

Tension writing toolkit and prompt cards- Narrative writing

This was created for a year four class but can and I will use with all KS2 classes.

It breaks down how to create tension in childrens writing and gives them a visual mat to check and tick of what they are using. (Language and seven areas created by myself)

I have broken down all the ways to build exciting writing and tension into different skill/language brackets

created an image stem they can remember them by and also larger individual images when you want them to focus in on a isolated skill such as; repition of comparitives.

Alongside this I have also created prompt cards with examples of each type of writing.

invaluable resource to narrative and tension writing.
