This resource is used to develop students use of excel to present information in a scientific way and to create graphs in excel, and calculate the gradient to find Young’s modulus. There is a step by step guide for the first example and then 2 other specimens for the students to complete. Students will need to format the cells for significant figures, convert data SI units, use excel equations to calculate area, stress, strain. This will support Young’s modulus CPAC for A Level physics

This resource allows students/teachers to regularly check required physics definitions in mechanics. The teacher can quickly set the definitions to be recalled (recording which questions have been set to ensure full coverage over the duration of the course). Students then mark, record and correct their answers. This booklets only need to be printed once and should be used throughout the course and every definition should be tested at least 8 times. The booklet is editable.
