<p>This is a reading journal aimed at KS3 students to promte reading in and outside the classroom. It is has detailed instructions in the introduction and can be used as homework, in literacy lessons or as an extra resource to help parents promote reading for pleasure at home. Students have the option to track their reading progress, create a ‘Want to Read’ shelf, write book reviews and choose a range of post-reading activities to complete throughout the academic school year.</p>

<p>This PowerPoint prepares students for Writing Part 4, 5 & 6 of the Edexcel ESL Exam. It includes example responses from the 2019 Exam series, writing frames, useful links to the British Council (in notes) and checklist for students to both self and peer assess.</p>

<p>This resource is aimed particularly at EAL and lower ability students that need extra support and guidance, and will be combined with a SoL to take students through a piece of a descriptive writing.</p>
<p>The differentiated booklet provides students with a picture prompt, guidance on using the 5 senses and up-skilling vocabulary as well as finding appropriate foci for each of their paragraphs. It also includes the mark scheme.</p>

<p>This resource is aimed particularly at EAL and lower ability students that need extra support and guidance and will be combined with a SoL to take students through each of the poems explored in the booklet.</p>
<p>The differentiated booklet provides students with potential questions for their exam or coursework, analysis tasks for each of the four poems, essay writing skills that build throughout the booklet, reflection questions after each poem and a guide to commentary writing.</p>
