<p>Instructions for setting up:</p> <p>Print and cut stockings and baubles.<br /> Glue the pictures behind the stocking so that the picture is hidden behind.<br /> Shine a torch behind the stocking to see the hiding picture! Children can write a Christmas list of toys and winter items using their phonics knowledge.</p>

<p>Black and white discs with mark making patterns. Can be printed to smaller sizes to fit onto log slices.</p>

<p>A simple busy fingers or fine motor activity. This could be used with buttons, pom poms or even as a pencil control activity.</p>

<p>Place cubes on top of the number squares. How many ways can that number be represented. Open ended activity to explore composition of number.</p>

<p>EYFS maths provision Christmas tree counting 1 - 10. Children could use pom poms or sequins to represent the numerals.</p>

<p>Snowflakes with CVC pictures. Children can build words by writing or drawing in tuff trays with glitter, flour or snow.</p>
