<p>this scheme of work sets out what will be covered week by week.<br />
It incorporates RO64 - LO5 as the introductory lessons in Term 1 followed by teaching and setting of RO65 - LO1 at the end of term 1.<br />
RO65 is to be completed throughout Terms 2 - 5<br />
Term 6 will be more relaxed allowing for preparations to be made for starting on RO66 looking at branding.<br />
Also pinpointed where assessments will be done throughout the year (Milestones on plan)</p>

Students can easily mark their own tests / peer review at the end by using either the BTEC student textbook or Revision guide.</p>

<p>This resource has been made to cover market segmentation - behavioural, demographic, psychographic and geographic.<br />
It starts with students having to peel an orange for themselves and coming up with how the class can be divided into segments.<br />
There is a worksheet and a presentation for the lesson.<br />
Also included is a sentence starter sheet for students who are writing up their RO65 Coursework task on Market Segmentation.</p>
<p>Here I have created an oracy lesson which is fully focused on group discussions and ideas and incorporates a business pitch at the end. The focus is Halloween and creating a rollercoaster ride which is suitable for a selected target market.<br />
Topics within are product design, advertising, target customers, marketing mix, presenting business pitches.</p>

Each task is explained and set out in task 1, task 2 .. logical order for students to follow along. <br />
Helps support students to work independently task by task for this piece of coursework.
In this activity students get the opportunity to come up with their own business enterprise idea. They have to identify all the costs involved in setting up and running the business. <br />
With teacher guidance students will learn about:<br />
• Create a SWOT analysis for your idea<br />
• Set aims and objectives<br />
• Find out how many need to be sold to break even<br />
• Look at the fixed and variable costs involved in running the business<br />
• Cash Flow Forecast<br />
• Business Plan<br />
All of the above will be included within the students project. <br />
