Activity based around timetables.. answering word problems and creating a timetable using 12 and 24 hour time format.
1) they answer questions about flighty timetable to Rio.
2) They write down KO and finish times of games in BOTH 12 and 24 hour format. They then calculate the duration of their games.
Differentiated 3 ways (mainly on the question side where easier numbers have been used).

You need smarties for the activity.
Pupils work in pairs. Give them a round number of smarties e.g. 10 or 12 so that they can write equivalent fractions, decimals, percentages etc more easily.
