A type of knowledge organiser, that I use as a start of topic page. Pupils self-assess prior knowledge then highlight end of topic learning once they are confident. Around the outside they add the definitions of the key scientific vocabulary once they learn them.
A topic page / knowledge organiser for each topic in yr 3 science. Pupils can highlight statements once they are confident. Add new words that they learn. I also print this in A5 then get pupils to fill the rest of their page with facts they are learnt, questions they have, memory tricks etc, to create their own knowledge organiser. See my blog where I explain in detail how I utilise these to assess and help pupils retain knowledge: https://science4primary.wordpress.com/2020/04/27/whats-the-deal-with-knowledge-organisers/
