I used this song by Albano y Romina Power called La Felicidad. It is originally sung in Italian but there is a Spanish version and it’s very cheesy but very catchy!

I used this with my year 10 group who had just done the weather and it worked really well.

The last four lines are used to make up their own verse of the song to say what happiness means to them.

For example some of my students wrote:

La felicididad es un día sin deberes, un día libre - la feliciidad

La felicidad es un regalo de mi madre y una cena de pollo - la felicidad

This is a quick starter I used to accompany the AQA GCSE French studio textbook.

If it saves anybody 5 minutes rather than having to create it for themselves then feel free to download.

The fold down section should not be used until the students have given the sheet a go first.

Students use the images to form sentences. The adjective they use doesn’t really matter as long as it is positive or negative in agreement with the emojis.

Year 10/11 gap fill song activity.

Students attempt the verb conjugation first then listen to the song without lyrics first and then finally with lyrics.

Works well with an all girl group.
