<p>Day 1: prediction road. Children will cut and stick William onto the road, writing a prediction on what they think will happen in the story.<br /> Days 2,3 and 4: retrieval questions based on chapter 1.<br /> Day 5: summary questions on chapter 1.</p>

An ordering activity, where children place clothes (fractions, decimals and percentages)onto a washing line. This is followed by 3 questions.

<p>Four days of guided reading activities. Both text and questions are attached. Each day has a separate current affairs issue that has recently been in the news, followed by VIPER, word choice and extension questions.</p>

Pupils should first buy 10, 100 or 1000 shares. They will then roll a dice to see which number rule they should apply. With each roll, the pupils should subtract a specific amount.
