<p>IB focused lessons and resources but can be easily adapted. Full SoW with some literature exam practice for Ibsen’s text. Close analysis as well as wider exploration of character and themes. Text used also included in pack for convenience.</p>

<p>Everything you need to teach and revise the text. I used these resources for IB but could be adapted for any other curriculum. Ppts. for every chapter with tasks to complete as well as clear timeline of events to help with chronology and events. Covers the entire book. Also included is a huge revision ppt. used in the run up to exams and a revision booklet for pupils to complete.</p> <p>Also included are additional resources collected along the way - everything you’ll need to start teaching it straightaway.</p>

<p>Full SoW for Jekyll and Hyde - was used for IGCSE/GCSE but could easily be adapted for A-level and IB teaching.<br /> Close reading/analysis examples as well as wider thematic activities to support close reading. Example PEEL/PETAL paragraphs included to support teaching</p>

<p>Whilst aimed at the IB programme, resources could be easily adapted for other syllabi.</p> <p>Lesson ppts, pdf copy of the text, additional reading, complete study booklet for pupils and separate one with (most!) answers in, including all graphic terminology needed to succeed when studying Book One of Persepolis.</p> <p>Many of the lessons are focused on the oral component as they were altered during distance learning, but Literature exam style work and examples also included.</p>

<p>Resources for teaching and analysing Nawal El Sadaawi’s Woman at Point Zero. This is designed for the new IB syllabus but could be adapted. Most of the lessons focus on analysis and exploration based on the novel having being read in advance. The comprehension questions and answers (from quizlet) are included, as this was holiday work pupils completed.</p>

<p>Full SoW for Arthur Miller’s A View From the Bridge. All ppts. and resources included. Detailed lessons that incorporate relevant contextual details as well as opportunities for analysis of key characters and themes as well as checking comprehension.</p>

<p>Having taught Medea at IB for a number of years, the SoW is devised to try and engage whilst also teaching key concepts around Greek theatre.</p> <p>This is aimed at IB but can easily be adapted for other exam boards.</p> <p>The final ppt. is on how to construct a literature essay response, using Medea as one of the exam texts.</p>

<p>Great pick up and go lessons for the start of a school year/term/topic on letter writing and persuasive writing. Lessons and resources aimed at Y7/Form 1 pupils starting secondary school but could be easily adapted - often used as a way to introduce themselves and to get a sense of their writing. All resources included: lesson ppts., additional resources and checklists for pupils to use to self/peer assess. Would take maybe 2-3 weeks, depending on the number of lessons you have.</p>

<p>Teaching resources, homework, essay planning and revision resources for every story in The BLoody Chamber collection.</p> <p>Can be used for both IB and A-level curricula (I have taught it for both). Relevant secondary sources also included for more able students.</p>

<p>Scheme of work for Cormac McCarthy’s novel ‘The Road’. Can be used and adapted for A-level and IB syllabus (I have taught the text for both).</p> <p>There’s ppt. for lessons and discussions, along with additional reading material, comprehension tasks and opportunities for extended writing. Can be scaffolded further but these lessons were designed with a higher ability group being taught.</p>

<p>A range of resources around Kendrick Lamar and using DAMN and TBAP albums as poetry.</p> <p>Designed for the IB course where Lamar is listed as an approved author. There’s a lot of secondary sources and the lessons are planned to encourage independent research and presentations (students ended by taking a song each and delivering an analytical presentation - teacher example of ‘Humble’ is in there).</p> <p>Could be adapted for other curriculum.</p>

<p>Full SoW for the novel ‘The Secret River’ - it was designed as a GCSE/IGCSE scheme of work but could easily be used for post-16 students as well.</p>

<p>Attached is a full scheme of work with various resources for Nadine Gordimer’s novel ‘July’s People’.</p> <p>The resources are planned with the IB course requirements in mind but could be adapted for other curricula if required.</p> <p>There are very few resources out there for this novel so thought sharing this might help others starting from scratch teaching this text.</p>

<p>A range of literacy and grammar worksheets for pupils to work on to check their understanding of different literacy and grammar rules. Ready to use. A mix I’ve found on my personal hard drive and grouped together. Great for KS3 but I’ve also used regularly with KS4 and KS5 in order to strengthen their understanding of sentence construction to deepen their understanding of analysis.</p>
