This resource is a PowerPoint on the Catholic Rebellions and examines to what extent was Mary Queen of Scots a threat to Elizabeth I’s rule? Students will create a group newspaper in groups of 5 to show the different plots and the level of threat they are. It is differentated so each plot is aimed at a different level of student. There is then an exam technique 8 mark planning activity. This works best with the AQA Elizabethan textbook on Catholic rebellions or any other information sheet on the rebellions.
