A board game that students can play to help their knowledge of the rock cycle including key words such as biological weathering. You will need a dice and counters (although a small piece of paper with their name on it works) for each group. Print one board and one event card set for each group. Self-explanatory for students and takes about 20-25 mins although a lot of students asked to play the game a second time.

Used for a middle ability year 8 class in preparation for a synoptic test following units on photosynthesis, chemical reactions and the periodic table. Good for end of KS3 or start of GCSE for revision of some key ideas. Answers included, and challenge extension on the back page to cover graph and practical design skills.

Takes about 30-45 mins depedning on group size and ability. Some bits adapted from the twinkl escape room but adapted into puzzles of my own.
