Unit of work for Year 5 Christmas The Gospels of Matthew and Luke

A Spelling Wheel that will spin and select a fun activity for the children to practice spellings. We do all of our spelling practice on individual whiteboards. We only have one black pen each but if your children have access to multiple colours etc you could change some of the activities to include rainbow spell. A fun and exciting way to practice spelling in class that takes the pressure off you to think of fun ways to write!

Randomly select a pupil’s name in class. Can be used as a standalone power point or can be copied and pasted into your own power point to use during lessons. Simply select ‘student name’ and change to suit your class. Font is Comic Sans so will work on all computers

Dominoes game for FDP Equivalents. If planning on reusing I would print each set of dominoes onto a different piece of coloured card, that way the dominoes won’t get mixed up (I learnt this the hard way!)
